Hong Kong Inter-Primary Schools English Speech Competition 2016-2017

The HKMA David Li Kwok Po College organized an ‘Inter-Primary Schools English Speech Competition’ to provide a platform for primary school students to showcase and enhance their English speaking skills. This competition arouses and develops students’ interest and confidence in English, particularly in speech and helps develop students’ positive self worth through having the opportunity to compete.

This year, over 500 P.4-6 students from 47 primary schools participated in the competition. The competition comprised of two categories: Prose Reading and Solo Verse Speaking.

On 26 & 27 Nov, thirty-seven P4-6 students were led by Miss L .Ha, Mrs A. Cheung, Miss B. Leung and Miss A. Wong to participate in the speech competition.

Thirty-seven students participated and twelve got trophies.

The rest of the students not only received a Certificate of Honour and Merit, but also gained valuable experience and developed their presentation skills.

All girls worked hard in their training. They unleashed their potential and tried their best to perform well in the competition.
