Month of Mary & May Crowning
May is often called“the Month of Mary.” It is a special time for us to honour our Blessed Mother Mary because she is the Mother of Jesus, Mother of the Church, the Queen of Heaven as well as the guide of everyone who seeks to be the follower of God.
In this month, we use our unique talents from God to DIY the spiritual flowers and offered them to Mama Mary during our annual May Crowning Ceremony, a long-standing tradition in MPS and worldwide. It is when the statue of Mary is crowned with flowers. The flowers represent Mary’s inner beauty and virtues, and the ceremony invites us to imitate Mary and live a life that’s pleasing in God’s eyes.
