We are delighted to announce the outstanding achievements of our P.6 students at the 11th Primary School Debating Tournament held on 11th May at St. Joseph's Primary School.

After four intense rounds of debates, our team emerged victorious and clinched the Championship! We are incredibly proud of their exceptional performance and dedication throughout the event.

Here are the motions that our students debated:
Round 1 Motion: This house believes that social media platforms should implement a minimum age requirement of 16.
Round 2 Motion: This house regrets the global reliance on non-renewable energy sources. 
Semi-final Motion: This house believes that governments should introduce a universal basic income to combat poverty.
Grand Final: This house believes that all research and development of artificial intelligence (AI) should be conducted exclusively by the government.

In addition to the team's triumph, Bella Yung from Class 6A and Rhea Law from Class 6B have been honoured with the Outstanding Speaker Award, while Chermaine Leung from class 6B has received the title of the Best Debater! 

We would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to our debating team for their unwavering commitment, countless hours of preparation, and remarkable ability to construct compelling rebuttals. Their hard work and determination have truly paid off.
