May Crowning 2024
May is often called “the Month of Mary.” It is a special time for us to honour our Blessed Mother Mary because she is the Mother of Jesus, Mother of the Church as well as the guide of everyone who seeks to be the follower of God.
May Crowning is a long-standing tradition in MPS. It is when the statue of Mary is crowned with flowers. The flowers represent Mary’s inner beauty and virtues, and the ceremony invites us to imitate Mary and live a life that’s pleasing in God’s eyes.
We also used our talents from God to DIY the spiritual flowers and offered them to Mama Mary through the ceremony.
